How to Join?

(To save, Right Click link above and select "Save Target As") - Mail it back to us completed and signed with a cheque or money order for $40.00, or alternatively, direct deposit into our account (details are on the form).
- You will be sent a receipt within 40 days (we have meetings once a month) to confirm that your membership has been received.
Please Note: The renewal date is March 1st, each year. Join anytime after 1st Jan to ensure the most value for your money. If you join between October 1st and Dec 31st, the price is reduced to $20 to cover you till March 1st.
Important notes on Insurance Coverage (yes, the points below are not just for fun; they are actually what is on the GKC insurance policy):
- The club's broadform insurance policy covers it's financial members against any accidental damage (3rd party injury or property damage) as a result of any kiting incident caused by the member.
- Location covered is anywhere in Australia.
- Activities Covered: All kite-flying, kite buggying, landboarding, and kiteboarding, basically anything with a kite.
- The policy also covers members at festivals, events and competitions - however it does not cover the event itself, or the organizers - just the member participating.
- Coverage is for public liability only, and is NOT member to member. It does not include personal injury damage, nor does it cover non-members to whom you might lend your kite to.
- Value: 10 million... which is only a few power-poles and a couple of cars really...
- Note: Policy Excess is $1,500.
If you are a member, and are involved in an incident, contact a commitee member asap. Or perhaps; jump up and down on the spot repeatedly, shouting "This is not happening to me, this is not happening to me!".
